ART PAVILION
The objective of this project was to design an art pavilion on a plot of land in downtown San Francisco to display the works of local artists. The gallery was to be surrounded by a sculpture garden and provide a reprieve from the high energy of the South-of-Market neighborhood.
The gallery space was clad in glass to allow for plentiful natural light. The walls were designed to move along floor and ceiling rails that echoed the lines of the roof to allow for maximum flexibility in configuring the display space.
