MINNA LAMP
Created as a gift for my friend Minna, this was one of my first forays into furniture design. The exterior shade was made of hand-curled paper coils glued to a paper backing, which attached to an acrylic and aluminum core housing the lightbulb.
Completed in December of 2003
MINNA LAMP:TALL
The original tabletop version of the lamp quickly gave way to a full-height floor lamp, whose shade I created from styrofoam instead of paper in order to give it additional strength and a more refined appearance.
